Building awareness of how our bodies move through various types of movement all while having the freedom to express our feelings, emotions and ideas. 

Giving students activities that will challenge their Thinking and Communication Skills within a group setting as well as their individual physical abilities. 

Building an understanding of the importance of manipulating space, categorizing of games; identifying and developing appropriate skills and strategies,  rules and how they define the nature of a game all while modifying and creating games of our own. 

Through the use of the IB PYP PE scope and sequence I have created a framework based on the below units. However, throughout the Framework that I have created you will see a individualized focus areas, central ideas, Key & Related Concepts and more through all grade levels. Each year has a different focus in order to reduce repetition and build a stronger vertical learning throughout each students Physical Education career.
